OTTAWA, June 23 /CNW Telbec/ - During its 2010 Policy and Strategy Meeting, the Canadian Alliance of Student Associations elected Zachary Dayler as its new National Director.
"I am incredibly excited to work with Canada's best and brightest student leaders. I know that everyone within the organization is passionate and eager to work towards improving the post-secondary education system in Canada," said Zach Dayler, National Director-elect of the Canadian Alliance of Student Associations. "We have a great deal of work to do, but I am more than confident that CASA will achieve the goal of a high quality, affordable, accessible, and innovative post-secondary education system in Canada."
Dayler has been heavily involved in student leadership serving as an executive representative and president of the Acadia University Students' Union, and later as the interim Executive Director for the Halifax Student Alliance. He is passionate about the student experience and the importance of education and training.
"Over the course of the last 15 years, CASA has become a thought leader on post-secondary education policy in this country.
