TORONTO, Sept. 10, 2015 /CNW/ - Ceres BioSystems Limited (Ceres) announced today that it has signed an "Intent For Cooperation" agreement with the state of Uttar Pradesh, India for the development of up to 10 facilities that will convert organic waste into natural fertilizer. The "Intent For Cooperation" was signed by Ceres BioSystems Limited and the Chief Minister at the Uttar Pradesh Mumbai Conclave hosted by the state and held in Mumbai on September 10, 2015.

The total investment over the next five years is expected to exceed 300 Crore INR and will create up to 300 direct and a further 500 indirect jobs in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
