TORONTO, Sept. 25 /CNW/ - The Canadian Bottled Water Association (CBWA) and its members would like to congratulate the Toronto Police Services Canine Unit on 20 years of excellence in serving their community. The CBWA is also honoured to have been invited by the Toronto Police Services Canine Unit to be part of its open-house celebrations this Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 44 Beechwood Drive, East York, Ontario from 10 am to 3 pm. "CBWA members are strong supporters of the work done by law enforcement officers, paramedics and firefighters throughout Canada and always glad to lend a hand to those who work so hard to keep us safe," said Elizabeth Griswold, Executive Director of the Canadian Bottled Water Association. "Participating in events like this is an important element to develop stronger relationships within the community and provide positive opportunities to show support, and pay respect to those who devote their lives to the service of their communities across our country." To assist the Toronto Police Services Canine Unit to build positive dialogue with the neighborhood, CBWA has donated approximately 1,500 litres of bottled water and provided staff volunteers, during the free open house event.
