VICTORIA, British Columbia, Sept. 18, 2017 /CNW/ -- Members of the Canadian American Business Council are in British Columbia this week meeting with business leaders, provincial politicians, and visiting the significant operations of its member companies Rio Tinto and Shell.
This morning our members met with Premier John Horgan in Victoria to discuss the potential impacts of a renegotiated NAFTA. The group also met with B.C. Green Party leader Andrew Weaver.
As part of the Canadian American Business Council's mission to promote dialogue between public and private sector leaders, Canadian American Business Council CEO Maryscott Greenwood will be speaking to a group assembled by the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade in Vancouver.
"The Pacific Northwest is such an important and vibrant part of the Canada/US story. We appreciate the opportunity to interact first hand with such a diverse set of leaders from this part of the world." said Greenwood.
