Canada's "Preferred Drinking Water" Scores 100% from World Recognized Quality
Auditor
MISSISSAUGA, ON, Sept. 24 /CNW/ - For many years, independent quality assurance audits of Canadian Springs water bottling facilities, conducted by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF), have always resulted in A+ scores. Recently, however, Canadian Springs scored an unprecedented 100% in the company's Vancouver facility. This perfect score was the topper to an across-the-board excellent rating of 97.5% for all other Canadian Springs bottling plants across Canada.
These top ratings were awarded to Canadian Springs by the Canadian Bottled Water Association (CBWA), following a third party audit from the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF), the world leader in standards development, product certification, education, and risk management for public health and safety.
The NSF, as part of its contractual relationship to the Canadian Bottled Water Association, is required to make unannounced, unscheduled visits to bottling plants of CBWA members to conduct their independent quality assurance audits.
"The quality of our water is our highest priority," said Chief Operating Officer, Gara Hay. "And although we were not surprised by the results, it is worth noting that this achievement is exceedingly difficult to accomplish … and it speaks volumes for the ongoing commitment we have made to provide premium quality, chlorine-free drinking water to our customers everywhere."
