Cadillac Fairview's Holiday Season Celebrates Tradition and Magic

To enhance their traditional North Pole and Santa experiences CF will be piloting the Magic Gift Workshop, an interactive digital experience at CF Rideau Centre and CF Carrefour Laval

CANADA, Nov. 24, 2015 /CNW/ - Coast to coast Cadillac Fairview (CF) properties help Canadian families embrace the holiday season with unforgettable traditions and experiences. This year is no exception with today's announcement that CF Rideau Centre and CF Carrefour Laval will offer shoppers a twist of magic with an interactive experience called the Magic Gift Workshop. 

Within the experience, shoppers will meet Santa's newest team of helpers, The Tufties, a set of loveable, fuzzy creatures who are both amazing gift wrappers and entertainers. Upon entering the workshop, guests will see the magic unfold and just how far Tufties are willing to go to make a gift look perfect.

This in-property activation is all a part of the CF promise to surprise and delight shoppers through new innovation and experiences. The Magic Gift Workshop Experience

CF Rideau Centre and CF Carrefour Laval shoppers will be able to place their unwrapped gift on the conveyer belt of the Magic Gift Workshop and then go inside the structure to follow their gift as it travels throughout. 

Interactive from the beginning, shoppers will be immersed into a shimmering starry night environment, watching through viewing stations as The Tufties wrap, decorate and prepare their gift. In the last station, shoppers will be treated to a fully animated experience which will illuminate their freshly wrapped gift. Family and friends on the outside of the structure will be able to enjoy a fun video of The Tufties at play, so as not to miss out on the experience.  Videos of The Tufties at work can be found at and

Introducing The Tufties

The Magic Gift Workshop will introduce shoppers to The Tufties, a new set of helpers for the holiday season. Named for their furry and fuzzy look and created here in Canada exclusively for CF, these little winter creatures are visiting all the way from the Arctic Islands off of Canada's North Coast close to the North Pole. Covered in fur to help them stay warm during the cold Arctic winter, The Tufties are very social creatures, who love to work and play together – in fact they're inseparable.
