Media Advisory - Workers on strike organize outdoors children's museum

OTTAWA, Oct. 2 /CNW Telbec/ - PSAC members on strike against the Museum of Civilization and War Museum will be providing activities for children from 9 am to 5 pm in front of the Museum of Civilization on Saturday October 3 and Sunday October 4, 2009.

The workers indicated that they are aware how disappointed parents and kids are that the employees of the Children's Museum are not doing their regular work due to the strike. They can't wait to get back to the jobs they love and they decided to provide some services to the children.

They encourage parents and children to visit them on the picket line in front of the Museum of Civilization, to learn about labour solidarity, and take part in crafts, skits, games and songs for children of all ages.
