$100,000 in StubHub credits given to passionate fans in Montreal
TORONTO, April 11, 2017 /CNW/ - The brand with the most passion for elevating game time and making hockey accessible for all Canadian fans is putting real hockey fans back in the arena. Budweiser has teamed up with StubHub to surprise die-hard hockey fans in Quebec with $100,000 USD in StubHub credits.

Together with StubHub, the world's largest ticket marketplace, Budweiser has partnered with some of the most recognized hockey personalities, including Patrick Scebba of Hockey Collective and TVA Sports host Dave Morissette, to distribute 250 StubHub credits (valued at $400 USD each) to hockey fans in Quebec. Yesterday, the personalities surprised 250 unsuspecting fans via a series of social media posts.

Fans will have even more chances to get into the arena. Canadian-based company and one of the largest convenience store operators, Couche-Tard, will be giving away $1,000 USD in StubHub credits to a lucky fan in Quebec each day for 30 days starting on April 10. Fans can enter for chance to win by purchasing an 18-pack or more of Budweiser at participating Couche-Tard locations and following the text-to-win instructions included on the purchase receipt.
"Over the years, we have seen great success and passion for hockey in Montreal, which is why we're focusing our efforts in this great hockey city," said Oosterhuis. "There are over 50,000 fans in Montreal actively synced to the Budweiser Red Light and Goal-Synced Glass and we are excited to support that passion by getting them back in the arena."
