Ontario's largest Canadian owned craft brewer starts New Year with first ever television commercial to support its flagship lager
WATERLOO, ON, Jan. 4 /CNW/ - Brick Brewing Co. Limited (TSX: BRB), Ontario's largest Canadian-owned and Canadian-based publicly held brewery, today announced the launch of its first ever TV campaign in support of its flagship Red Baron beer on CBC's Hockey Night in Canada.
Created for Brick Brewing by GURU Studio Toronto, "Pond of Dreams" builds on the success of the revitalized Red Baron brand in 2009. Through state-of-the-art computer generated imagery, Guru Studio captures the perfect winter moment through a dynamic series of camera shots that slowly reveal the brand's crisp, clean and refreshing identity. The clear glass beer bottles are revealed elegantly on the perfect frozen pond setting with the commercial ending on a final "heroic product shot" that highlights both Red Baron and Red Baron Light.
"Television is completely new for Brick Brewing so it was extremely important that this commercial builds strong brand awareness and Ontario beer drinkers are able to embrace Red Baron as a beer that is 100% Canadian," said Sean Dennis Director of Marketing for Brick Brewing Co. Limited. "Computer generated imagery isn't new, but the trick is finding a partner that will capture the brand's identity exactly as you imagine it and guru studio delivered" added Dennis. "It was a pleasure to work directly with Sean to help script and produce Brick Brewing's first TV spot for broadcast on Hockey Night in Canada" added Falcone.
