FREDERICTON, NB, Sept. 18 /CNW/ - Bell Aliant today announced that FibreOP(TM) residential services are now available for sale in areas of Fredericton on the only 100% fibre optic network. Customers can choose from a variety of options, providing unprecedented Internet speeds and the ultimate TV experience.

FibreOP Internet offers unprecedented download and upload speeds, allowing customers to download music or movies, and share video or photos faster than ever before. Internet services are available at speeds of up to 35Mbps download with 10Mbps upload. Increasing the capacity of upload speeds in addition to download is important to ensure the fastest two-way and overall Internet experience.
FibreOP TV offers 100% digital TV service including High Definition television and watch and record PVR, giving customers the option to watch and record two different HD channels at one time. Customers can enjoy unmatched digital picture and sound quality on over 200 channels, including over 90 music channels and 45 HD channels. Other features include an easy-to-use on-screen program guide, free time-shifting that allows customers to watch their favourite shows from other time zones, local radio music stations and access to pay-per-view movies and events.
FibreOP services are now for sale in areas of Fredericton, and will continue to be rolled out to the remainder of Fredericton and Saint John by the middle of next year.
