PORT COQUITLAM, BC, May 10, 2017 /CNW/ - Award-winning technology innovation company, Finger Food Studios, is pleased to announce they will be on site at Microsoft Build in Seattle WA: May 10-12, 2017.
Finger Food will be demonstrating a holographic design tool proof of concept created for global medium and heavy-duty truck design and manufacturer PACCAR (the parent company of Kenworth, Peterbilt, DAF and Leyland Trucks).
Finger Food has arranged to bring a full-sized Kenworth T680 truck - on which visitors will be able to view and interact with design variations and simulations through Microsoft HoloLens - to the centre of the Washington State Convention Center expo show floor.
"At Finger Food, we are proud to be pioneers and fearless innovators. We love to take risks, think big and solve complex problems with bleeding-edge technology like Microsoft HoloLens," said Finger Food CEO Ryan Peterson. "The PACCAR design tool was our first foray into holographic computing and is still one of our favourite demos to show because it illustrates the true large-scale potential of mixed reality for industry. Companies embracing this technology to visualize and interact with data, and ultimately make better and more informed decisions, will be able to make vast leaps over their competition. We are transforming workflows for multiple companies around the globe and it all started with the PACCAR solution."
"Mixed Reality is changing the way businesses see and interact with data," said Brandon Bray, Principal Program Manager, Microsoft HoloLens.
