New software gives growers an advantage in farm data management, inventory control and accounting
MISSISSAUGA, ON, June 12, 2014 /CNW/ - BASF today announced the development of a new web based farm management tool, Clearpoint™ Advanced.
Exclusive to BASF customers, Clearpoint Advanced allows growers full control of their data from inputs to accounting. The tool delivers crop, financial and grain marketing management capabilities combined in a single solution that allows for more informed decision-making.
"Growers are planning earlier and have a desire to receive and process information in near real-time," said Robert McAuley, Customer Relationship Manager, BASF Canada. "Clearpoint Advanced is an example of how BASF is providing solutions that help our customers make more informed and efficient farm management decisions."
Clearpoint Advanced provides an all-in-one farm management tool that allows growers to manage all their farm data. The new tool gives growers the ability to perform crop budgeting, crop planning, equipment data integration, and GIS mapping, as well as manage grain contracts and farm grain inventories. It comes with a complete farm accounting platform, and allows growers to generate reports on their farm data in real time.
BASF has an exclusive agreement with a Microsoft® certified partner development team who created this tool on a Microsoft based platform. This team will also provide one-on-one support to help growers get the most out of the tool.
Clearpoint Advanced, available to growers in the fall of 2014, will be accessible on computers, smart phones and tablets.
