Autorite des marchés financiers (AMF) files charges against Golden Hope Mines officers

MONTREAL, March 25, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - On Feb. 10, 2014, the AMF filed charges against two officers of Golden Hope Mines (TSX VENTURE: GNH), namely Frank Candido its President and Sasha Asgary, its Secretary and Director of Communications.

The proceeding was initiated pursuant to article 195.2 of the Securities Act relating to the offence of influencing the price or value of a security using improper, unfair, or fraudulent means. The AMF asks for civil penalties of $25,000 against each of Candido and Asgary and asks that they both be prohibited from acting as directors for 18 months from the date of a judgment.

Either Mr. Candido and Mr. Asgary did not tell our Board of the AMF's charges or our Board of Directors knew about it and did not see fit to advise the shareholders of this material and important information about two of the Company's officers.
