Ariana Grande's current smash hit "Problem" featuring Iggy Azalea is now
platinum in the U.S. and holds the title of fastest-selling single to
reach 1 million sales in 2014. In its first week, "Problem" achieved
sales of 435,000-plus (U.S.), making for the biggest single debut of
the year so far, and fourth highest for a female artist ever. "Problem"
is currently Gold in Canada and is the first single from Grande's
highly-anticipated sophomore album due out later this summer. In 2013,
Grande released her first full-length album, YOURS TRULY, which debuted at #2 on the Canadian Nielsen Soundscan chart and at #1
on the Billboard Top 200, Billboard Digital Albums Chart, and iTunes Overall Albums Chart in the U.S.
Moreover, it yielded the platinum-selling pop smash "The Way" featuring
Mac Miller. She also received "Favourite Breakout Artist" at the
People's Choice Awards 2014 and "Best New Artist" at the 2013 American Music Awards. Grande's
magnetic charm, impressive voice, and astounding presence have
enchanted millions of fans worldwide.
Blending soulful vocals with organic folk introspection and irresistible
hip-hop hooks, Ed Sheeran is a genuine global phenomenon. The
23-year-old British singer-songwriter's masterful debut album, +,
entered the UK Albums Chart at #1 with the highest opening sales
figures for a debut male solo artist ever, and earned him three Grammy
Award® nominations. Ed Sheeran is gearing up for a very busy summer
with the announcement of the release of his much anticipated second
album, x - pronounced "multiply" - on June 23. His new album is preceded by the
exhilarating lead single "Sing," which has rapidly become a
multi-format top 10 hit in Canada.
With four consecutive multi-platinum albums behind them and almost a
million albums sold, Hedley continues along their path to pop music
supremacy with their current album, Wild Life. The album is closing in on the double platinum mark and bridges
classic Hedley pop anthems and ballads along with R&B infused tracks
and electro-pop tunes. The first single, "Anything" is the band's
fastest selling single, achieving platinum-selling status in a few
short months. Hedley's current monster radio track, "Crazy For You" is
currently owning Top 5 radio charts across the country and isn't
showing any signs of slowing down soon. The band recently wrapped a
monster 32-date Canadian arena tour and is currently working their
infectious live show tunes in Germany, France and beyond! They leave
Europe just in time for their triumphant return to the MMVA stage to
celebrate their pack-leading six nominations, tied with Drake.
