will go on sale at Canadian Acura dealerships in June 2013, with a
manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) starting at $49,9901 and topping out at $62,190 for the technology-laden RLX with Elite
The all-new 2014 Acura RLX is the most powerful, spacious, and
technologically advanced sedan in the history of Acura. Powered by an
all-new 310-horsepower, direct-injected V-6 engine and featuring a host
of Acura signature technologies, including Precision All-Wheel SteerTM, Jewel Eye™ LED headlights, and the AcuraLink® connected car system, the RLX delivers new levels of technology-enhanced
performance, comfort and connectivity in a luxury flagship sedan.
Using smart packaging, advanced aerodynamics, and lightweight body
design, along with fuel-saving i-VTEC with Variable Cylinder Management engine technology, the RLX has
top-class estimated fuel economy ratings of 10.5 / 6.4 / 8.6 L/100km

the RLX utilizes an all-new direct-injection engine, lightweight body

Both "Standard" and "Connect" services will be offered to RLX customers
purchasing the Technology and Elite models at no charge for the first
four years and Premium will be complimentary for the first year. This
will undoubtedly offer tremendous luxury value.
With a longer wheelbase and wider greenhouse than competing mid-luxury
sedans, the new RLX delivers the most spacious five-passenger seating
in its class in a nimbler package. The RLX boasts the longest
rear-seat legroom (985 mm), and best front (1514 mm) and rear (1449 mm)
shoulder room in the mid-luxury class. The RLX body makes extensive use
of high-strength steel and aluminum, further aiding its outstanding

Unique Marketing Campaign Kicks Off 2014 RLX Launch
As presenting sponsor of the Canadian broadcast, Acura will launch an
integrated, multiplatform advertising campaign in conjunction with the
2013 Masters Tournament in April, supporting the debut of the all-new
2014 Acura RLX. The full 90-second launch video 'Pulse', will debut on
Canadian TV screens during Masters weekend programming starting April
8th. This campaign marks Acura's first 90-second TV spot and the most
significant investment in a product TV commercial to date.
Acura will launch the robust campaign communicating its 'Synergy of Man
and Machine' theme, designed to heighten the awareness of the Acura
brand while also capturing the attention of prospective RLX buyers.
Beginning in April and continuing throughout the year, highly focused
and frequent media will sustain RLX awareness by leveraging digital,
out of home, television and print mediums. While speaking to a broad
