Alaska Airlines Bellingham-Honolulu Flights Now on Sale

<p><span class="xn-location">SEATTLE</span>, <span class="xn-chron">Aug. 5</span> /CNW/ -- Alaska Airlines is offering special introductory fares on its new nonstop service between Bellingham, Wash., and <span class="xn-location">Honolulu</span>, beginning <span class="xn-chron">Jan. 7, 2011</span>.</p>

<p>Fares for the flights start at <span class="xn-money">$149</span> each way for tickets purchased by <span class="xn-chron">Aug. 17, 2010</span>, for travel from <span class="xn-chron">Jan. 7</span> through <span class="xn-chron">March 10, 2011</span>. The airline is also offering four-night Alaska Airlines Vacations packages, including airfare and hotel, starting at <span class="xn-money">$549</span> per person. (Applicable terms and conditions are detailed below.)</p>

<p>"We are committed to offering low fares and our award-winning customer service to Hawaii from more points on the West Coast," said <span class="xn-person">Joe Sprague</span>, Alaska Airlines' vice president of marketing. "This special introductory fare, coupled with the convenience of using the Bellingham Airport, makes this an incredibly attractive offer for our customers in Northwest Washington and the Lower Mainland."</p>

<p>Alaska Airlines currently flies between Bellingham and <span class="xn-location">Las Vegas</span>, while its sister carrier, Horizon Air, offers Bellingham-Seattle service as well as Bellingham-Portland service through <span class="xn-chron">Aug. 20, 2010</span>.</p>

<p>Alaska and Horizon customers receive a variety of amenities at no extra charge, including online reservations, advance seat selection and complimentary inflight water, soft drinks, coffee, tea and snacks.</p>

<p>The new Bellingham-Honolulu flights will be operated with Boeing 737-800 aircraft, accommodating 16 passengers in first class and 141 in the main cabin. Inflight service includes meals for purchase in the main cabin, complimentary meal service in first class and Alaska Airlines' digEplayer, a personal entertainment system offering a variety of movies, television shows, music and other features.</p>

<p>Terms and conditions for Bellingham-Honolulu fare: Tickets must be purchased by <span class="xn-chron">Aug. 17, 2010</span>, for travel from <span class="xn-chron">Jan. 7, 2011</span>, through <span class="xn-chron">March 10, 2011</span>. Fares are not available on the following blackout dates: from Bellingham to <span class="xn-location">Honolulu</span>, Feb. 16-21, 2011; from <span class="xn-location">Honolulu</span> to Bellingham, <span class="xn-chron">Feb. 24</span> through <span class="xn-chron">March 1, 2011</span>.</p>
