Academy Dental's Dentistry from the Heart Event to Provide Free Dental Care

VICTORIA, BC, April 23, 2014 /CNW/ - Award winning-dentist Academy Dental is bringing free smiles back to the community. Last year, Academy Dental donated over $35,000 worth of free dental care to patients in Victoria and Sooke. On April 28, Academy Dental is hosting its second annual Dentistry from the Heart event, from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Open to the public, both adults and children are welcome. The event is first come, first served. Patients can opt for a free filling, extraction or cleaning.

A recent study found that only half of Canadians have access to affordable dental care. Academy Dental is changing the facts on dentistry. "Helping patients smile is a core principle at Academy Dental," commented Academy Dental's Dr. Rachel Staples, "and we love giving back to the community."

Academy Dental is a strong voice in the community about oral health care. Academy Dental's key services include CEREC restorations, Invisalign invisible aligners, veneers, TMJ treatments and more.
