About Workplace Matters Design Competition
A prestigious panel of judges made up of workplace culture experts, ergonomists, sustainability gurus and corporate leaders will judge nominated designs based on (1) their actively taking into consideration the industries, employee demographics and work styles of the culture they intend to serve; (2) how their design addresses the specific physical, emotional and cultural needs of each generation: Veterans, Boomers, Xers, Millennials; and (3) how effectively the design creates opportunities for the generations to work more effectively together and/or encourages multi-generational collaboration. Nominations open at 5 p.m. on October 2, 2009 and close at 11:59 p.m. on October 30, 2009. About The Refuse to Sit Still! Video Competition
To celebrate the much-anticipated release of the Generation Chair by Knoll, local filmmakers will compete to create the best spoof on a famous scene of the hit TV series, "The Office."
