VANCOUVER, Aug. 27, 2015 /CNW/ - 3TL Technologies Corp.  (TSXV: TTM) announced today that CausePlay, a Los Angeles-based digital/mobile agency has licensed 3TL's Snap3 Optical Character Recognition ("OCR") mobile shopper marketing technology for a major promotion with Food4Less stores and its DigitalFood App, Nestle Waters, Kellogg's Pop-Tarts, and Hormel Foods' Farmer John brand in support of Demi Lovato's Lovato Treatment Scholarship.

The promotion, which began on August 19th, 2015, motivates consumers to purchase Nestle Waters, Kellogg's Pop-Tarts or Hormel Foods' Farmer John brand products in order to receive a digital code that provides access to watch an exclusive Demi Lovato Virtual Reality video along with information about her charity, The Lovato Treatment Scholarship. 

In order to receive the digital code, consumers will download the Food4Less DigitalFood App on both iOS and Android at www.digitalfood.com to their smart phone, snap a photo of their receipt showing they purchased the designated products, and then receive a link to view the virtual reality content.

The Company's Snap3 OCR technology enables the promotion to take place by 'reading' the uploaded receipts, verifying proof-of-purchase on a consumer-specific basis, and integrating seamlessly with the DigitalFood App.
