2nd Open letter to Accruent CEO

TORONTO, March 21, 2016 /CNW/ -

Dear Mr. Friedman,

I am in the process of filing a Statement of Defense against your Defamation lawsuit better known as a "SLAPP" (Strategic Lawsuit against Public Participation). Court File Number CV-16-547718

The sole purpose of a SLAPP lawsuit is to stifle individuals who wish to inform the public of wrongdoings by large corporations.

Ontario has an anti-SLAPP bill duly known as Bill 52, the Protection of Public Participation Act. Our province encourages and applauds the efforts of ordinary citizens to organize, speak out and lobby politicians on important issues.

Your SLAPP lawsuit shows such a callous disregard for human rights.  I will continue to seek assistance through appropriate channels including the Canadian Civil Liberties Association and parliamentary vehicles including the Standing Committee on Public Accounts.

I believe the VFA Facility Funding report function has fatal design and logic errors. I am concerned that if our elected government representatives are not informed of these concerns of inaccuracy, it will wreak havoc on future funding figures resulting in the misuse of Canadian taxpayers' money.

I highly recommend that Accruent take this issue seriously and conduct a probe into the VFA production management.

Respectfully,
Tomoyuki Mishimagi
