2016 East Asia Marine Summit Forum Kicks off in Qingdao

QINGDAO, China, July 29, 2016 /CNW/ -- The 2016 East Asia Marine Summit Forum, co-organized by China Economic Information Service and Qingdao Municipal People's Government, was held in Qingdao West Coast New Area, east China's Shandong Province from July 26 to 27.

Centering on the marine economy development of East Asia, the cultivation of marine industry, trading of marine products and the building of financing platform, more than 200 domestic and overseas experts, scholars and insiders exchanged ideas on how to strengthen the coordination of macro policies among East Asia countries, further deepen multilateral cooperation on marine economy and so as to promote the development of regional economic integration. At the forum, 2016 East Asian Marine Trade Connectivity Index and 2016 Analysis Report on the Marine Economic Development of East Asia were released.
