MONTREAL, Nov. 10, 2023 /CNW/ - CargoM, Montreal's metropolitan logistics and transportation cluster, invites you to a unique job fair bringing together actors in the logistics and freight transportation sectors of Greater Montreal. This 8th edition of CargoM's Career Day will take place on Wednesday, November 15 at the Port of Montreal's Pavillon du Grand Quai.
More than ever, the logistics and freight transport sector is facing numerous challenges due to the labour shortage. The CargoM Career Day continues to be a major initiative to promote the many career and training opportunities available throughout our supply chain to job seekers and the general public. At the time of writing, more than 35 companies and educational institutions have confirmed their attendance, and over 900 positions are to be filled.
CargoM Career Day is a perfect opportunity to discover the available training and job opportunities in the logistics and marine, road, rail and air transport sectors, and to interact with experts in this essential and fast growing sector. Created in 2012, CargoM (cargo-montreal.ca — @CargoMtl) brings together Greater Montreal's logistics and freight transport stakeholders, including educational institutions, exporters and importers, research centres, associations and sectoral committees, around shared objectives and collaborative projects, with the aim of increasing the cohesiveness, competitiveness and outreach of this sector.
