today. The grant will assist the Lakehead Region Conservation Authority
(LRCA) in hosting the Lakehead Children's Water Festival.
Ian Stewart, Union Gas manager of district support for Northwest
Ontario, presented the cheque to LRCA's vice-chair, Donna Blunt at the
2012 Lakehead Children's Water Festival held today in the Heritage
Building of the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition.

"At Union Gas, we believe in investing today to ensure a bright
tomorrow," says Stewart. "That means supporting important environmental
conservation and ecological programs in the communities we serve. We
are very pleased to help the Lakehead Region Conservation Authority

The Lakehead Children's Water Festival would not be possible without the
support of local sponsors and volunteers to help run Activity Centres.

Christian School, Lakehead University and community members.
"The LRCA would like to take this opportunity to thank Union Gas for
their generous donation towards the 2012 Lakehead Children's Water
