MONTREAL, June 28, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Techo-Bloc announced today the
acquisition of a manufacturing facility in Douglassville, PA. The
facility was formerly owned by Rinox LLC.
This acquisition will provide Techo-Bloc with the additional production
and distribution capacity needed to meet the growing demand for our
landscape products in the Mid-Atlantic and South Eastern United States.
Commenting on the acquisition, Techo-Bloc President Charles Ciccarello
said, "We will continue to seek acquisition opportunities in the U.S.
and Canada, with the objective of providing Techo-Bloc's superior line
of landscape products within a greater geographic area."
Techo-Bloc will ensure that the Douglassville facility meets the
company's standards of quality and excellence. "Customers can expect
the same high standards they've grown accustomed to," said Ciccarello.
Techo-Bloc will retain the existing staff at Douglassville and has plans
to hire additional staff.
