STELLARTON, NS, Sept. 5, 2012 /CNW/ - Sobeys Inc. today announced the appointment of Simon Gagné as Chief Human Resources Officer.
A native of Matane, QC, Mr. Gagné has, for the past 12 years, served as Vice President, Human Resources, for Sobeys' operations in Québec.
In his new role, and as a member of the company's executive committee, Mr. Gagné will serve as principal counsel and steward for the company's talent attraction, retention and development initiatives, as well as succession and career planning, leadership development and management of the company's people engagement opportunities.
