TORONTO, June 19, 2014 /CNW/ - A prestigious panel of judges for the
Canadian Online Publishing Awards (COPAs) has being released this June
on the COPAs website that showcases some of the best Canadian talent in
the digital publishing industry.
The COPAs bring together all the media brands and companies that are
producing online content in Canada, be it a media publisher,
corporation or marketer. It is a chance to see the talent that Canada
has to offer. The COPAs consolidates both traditional and new media
brands in one big competition. These awards were started in 2009 and
are now in their 6th year. The deadline for the call entries is June 30, 2014.
Entries are reviewed by a prestigious panel of content, creative,
digital, web tech, marketing, media and advertising experts from Canada
and the U.S., and winners are selected in 15 categories across three
divisions. The 2014 judging panel is being posted during the month of
June with 100 judges from across Canada.

Martin Seto the producer of the COPAs says "The growth of the digital
publishing ecosystem demands that an awards program reflect all the
participants, and the COPAs have changed the awards mix this year to
include the best corporate websites and online advertising. Great
content cannot survive without great ads and corporate websites that
link to them and it's time to see who is the best."
Winners are announced at an awards party in November in downtown
Toronto, in what has become the digital publishing event of the year.
Industry supporters this year of the event include Chateau Des Charmes,
CNW Group, Metro News Canada, Readers Digest Canada, Toshiba Canada and
Winnipeg Free Press. The COPAs are produced by Masthead magazine, a
digital publication dedicated to the publishing industry in Canada for
print and digital. www.masthead.ca
