OTTAWA, May 29, 2013 /CNW/ - Marcomm Systems Group, an industry leader
in designing, installing and integrating innovative electronic physical
security systems, has recently acquired three key people to keep up with the company's
growth -Jeff MacDonald was hired to fill the position of Plant
coordinator - Chris Stieber as the Head of IT Security, and Ed Wittebol
as Lead Draftsman.
Marcomm Systems Group Inc. (MSGI), the industry leader in advanced
security and control systems, was recently awarded the security contract for the Barrie Courthouse,
located in Barrie Ontario. MSGI will deploy a unified CCTV and Access Control system, a fully redundant Storage Array Network (SAN), exterior swing gates,
and provide Duress Stanchion Towers in parking areas. MSGI will build
the Graphical User Interface (GUI) for the judicial Duress Alarm
Display and intercom using their integration software DYNATROL.
"We're very excited about the direction of our company", explains David
Trudel, President of MSGI. "The industry has been recognizing us for
years as the leader in Corrections, which is a huge compliment in
itself. But I realized it was time to expand our sales and marketing
efforts to gain better penetration in the other critical vertical
markets that would benefit from our knowledge and experience. And now
that hard work is starting to pay off".
In recent months, MSGI has been awarded security contracts for the Nova
Institution for Women in Nova Scotia, the Cowansville New Living Unit
in Quebec, and the Ambassador Hotel & Convention Centre in Kingston,
Ontario, shown below.
