This new safer field will be well lit and better suited to the Quebec climate, and will serve the interests of the entire community of Rosemere to permit local youth to move and have fun on a surface of great quality. It will also provide a new home for the Rosemere High School Raiders sports teams and it is sure to improve the quality of life of sports enthusiasts who use it to practice their favorite activities.   The region's residents can make use of this new field and take advantage of the summer months to stay active.

Paquet.

"The City of Rosemère and the Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board has a long story of success.  More than 15 years ago, we signed a first agreement for the use of their soccer field to benefit our youth.  We are proud today to renew our trust in this institution by contributing a maximum of $439,000 that will benefit both our soccer and football associations" said Mr. Westram.

'We are extremely proud of this new facility and we thank our partners for this wonderful news that will have such a profound effect on our students and young athletes in the community for years to come' concluded Mr. Milas.
