TORONTO, Jan. 19, 2012 /CNW/ - Local 183 of the Labourers' International
Union of North America, the largest construction union local on the
continent, says the Simcoe growth plan outlined by provincial
Infrastructure Minister Bob Chiarelli is "great news for workers,
families and for everyone in Simcoe county, Barrie and Orillia."
Local 183 spokesperson Jack Oliveira notes his local represents more
than 28,000 construction workers and their families, many in the Simcoe
area and the GTA.
