SAO PAULO, Sept. 12, 2012 /CNW/ - Key event for Latin America's pulp and paper industry, ABTCP 2012 – 45th Pulp and Paper International Congress & Exhibition, taking place on October 9th through 11th in Sao Paulo, is expected to bring together more than 200 exhibitors, and receive about 10 thousand visitors from Brazil and abroad.
Tecnicelpa (Portuguese Association of Technicians of the Pulp and Paper Industries) and Riadicyp (American Association of Teaching and Research on Pulp and Paper) are producers' partners of ABTCP (Brazilian Technical Association of Pulp and Paper) on this event's edition.
This year's special feature is Ciadicyp (Ibero-American Congress of Research on Pulp and Paper) –, a major event for this industry previously held in Argentina, Spain, Chile, Mexico and Portugal. On the theme of Great Challenges for Research and Technology in Lignocellulosic Materials and Pulp and Paper, the Congress will feature technical sessions on pulp, paper, environment, automation and process control; engineering and maintenance, and biomass recovery and utilities.
"The ABTCP congress and the suppliers Expo represent a major international exchange on trends and information among professionals and companies. The presence of participants from Ciadicyp and the presentation of technological innovations, scientific discoveries and technical achievements, among other noteworthy features contributed by exhibitors, should make this event even more valuable for this sector," affirms Lairton Leonardi, President of the ABTCP.
