MONTREAL, Sept. 25, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - Marleen Beaulieu, President and Executive Producer of Attraction Images, is pleased to announce the appointment of Louise Lantagne to the position of Vice-President, Fiction, Feature Film, and Documentary.

Ms. Lantagne has distinguished herself for 15 years at Radio-Canada. She is well-known and appreciated within the industry for her skills, her bold approach and her deep respect for creators.

Louise Lantagne holds a degree in French literature from McGill University, and a law degree from Université de Montréal. She has been working with cultural businesses for 25 years. Ms. Lantagne worked as Team Leader responsible for assessing fictions, documentaries and TV series at SODEC. She started working at Radio-Canada in 1999 as Head of feature films, and successively held the positions of Director of drama in 2002, Executive Director of Radio in 2007, and Executive Director of Television in 2008. It was under her leadership that many TV success stories have sprung up: Les Bougon, Les Invincibles, Tout sur moi, C.A., Les Parent, Minuit le soir, La Galère, 19-2, 30 vies, Série noire and Unité 9. Louise Lantagne will assume her new role of Vice-President, Fiction, Feature Film, and Documentary of Attraction Images. Inc. on October 27, 2014.
