VANCOUVER, Sept. 15, 2014 /CNW/ -
The Burn Free BC Coalition, an organization rallying against the construction of Metro Vancouver's $520 million taxpayer funded waste incinerator, will be unveiling "Mr. Burns" tomorrow morning out front of the Vancouver Convention Center where Metro Vancouver will be holding their annual Zero Waste Conference.
In the same light-hearted nature of the famous Victoria mascot "Mr. Floatie," Burn Free's "Mr. Burns" will be making appearances throughout the Lower Mainland spreading the message that British Columbians would rather increase recycling than burn recycled materials and pollute our air.
When: Tuesday, Sept. 16 at 10am pacific
Where: Out front of the Vancouver Convention Center (Pan Pacific side), 999 Canada Place, Vancouver
Who: Mr. Burns, Official Municipal Election Spokesperson for the Burn Free BC campaign
