Dr. Louis Marmet reveals how official time is calculated

OTTAWA, March 7, 2013 /CNW/ - Time is omnipresent. It wakes us in the morning, gets us to work on time, and runs our mobile devices and stock markets. But how can we be sure all of these clocks are on time? In the following video, Dr. Louis Marmet, one of Canada's timekeepers, gives you a rare 'behind-the-scenes' look at his work and reveals how official time is calculated.

A reminder that most of Canada springs forward to Daylight Saving Time this coming Sunday, March 10, at 2 a.m.
