Rockpoint Gas Storage Inc. Announces Dividend Reinvestment and Share Purchase Plan

CALGARY, AB, Sept. 3, 2026 /CNW/ -- Rockpoint Gas Storage Inc. ("Rockpoint" or the "Company") (TSX: RGSI) today announced the implementation of a dividend reinvestment and share purchase plan (the "Plan") for eligible holders ("Shareholders") of its Class A common shares ("Class A Shares").

The Plan provides eligible holders of Class A Shares with the opportunity to automatically reinvest all or a portion of the cash dividends paid on their Class A Shares into additional Class A Shares. Further, the Plan also provides participants with the ability to make optional cash purchases of additional Class A Shares, subject to the terms of the Plan.

Under the Plan, Class A Shares acquired on behalf of participants will be purchased through market purchases on the Canadian open market. The purchase price of Class A Shares acquired under the Plan will be the average cost per share incurred by the Plan agent for all Class A Shares purchased in respect of the applicable dividend payment date. The Class A Shares acquired under the Plan will not be issued from treasury and no discount will be applied.

Participation in the Plan is optional. Shareholders who do not elect to participate in the Plan will continue to receive their cash dividends in the usual manner.

To participate in the Plan, enrollment instructions must be received by the Plan administrator no later than 4:00 PM (Toronto time) on the fifth business day prior to the applicable dividend record date. Enrollment requests received after that time will be processed for the next applicable dividend payment date. Eligible shareholders may enroll in the Plan as early as the upcoming quarterly dividend payable on September 30, 2026, to shareholders of record on September 15, 2026. Once an eligible shareholder has enrolled in the Plan, participation continues automatically until the shareholder changes its election or their participation is terminated in accordance with the Plan.

Participation in the Plan is available to shareholders resident in Canada. Shareholders resident outside Canada (other than the United States) may also be eligible to participate, provided participation is permitted under the laws of their jurisdiction. Shareholders residing outside Canada should consult their legal and tax advisors regarding their eligibility to participate. Non-resident participants may remain subject to applicable Canadian withholding taxes on dividends reinvested under the Plan. The Plan is not currently available to residents of the United States or U.S. persons, as defined under applicable U.S. securities laws.

Computershare Trust Company of Canada has been appointed as the Plan agent to administrator the Plan. Eligible registered shareholders may enroll online or obtain a copy of the Plan enrollment form by visiting the Plan agent's online self-service portal. Beneficial shareholders who hold their Class A Shares through a broker, financial institution, or other intermediary should contact their intermediary directly regarding participation in the Plan.
