How Canadians can earn more at Tims
There are several ways members can get value through this loyalty partnership. In addition to Tims Rewards points, linked members can earn up to 5% in Canadian Tire Money on eligible purchases* at Tim Hortons restaurants** when they scan for Tims Rewards or order in the Tim Hortons app. Here's how:
- Scan for Tims Rewards: Earn 2% on eligible Tim Hortons purchases* (pre-tax).
- Scan for Tims Rewards and then pay with a Triangle® credit card: Earn an additional 2% on total Tim Hortons purchases (post-tax).
- Use a Triangle credit card as the payment method for Scan & Pay in the Tims app: Earn an additional 1% on eligible Tim Hortons purchases* (pre-tax).
How to Link Accounts
Linking accounts is quick and easy, giving linked members the opportunity to earn Canadian Tire Money on their regular Tims run. To link accounts, visit triangle.com/timsrewards and click Link Accounts. Customers will be prompted to log-in or sign-up for both Triangle Rewards and Tims Rewards and can follow easy instructions to link their accounts.
Redemptions work the way members already know and love
Whether stopping for coffee on the way to work, grabbing lunch between errands, or treating the family on a road trip, rewards members can earn Tims Rewards points* and Canadian Tire Money when they make a purchase at Tim Hortons restaurants**. Linked members can continue to redeem rewards through Triangle Rewards and Tims Rewards the same way they do today:
- Canadian Tire Money can only be redeemed at Canadian Tire, Party City, SportChek, Mark's, L'Équipeur, Pro Hockey Life, Sports Rousseau, Hockey Experts, Atmosphere, L'Entrepôt du Hockey and participating Sports Experts locations across Canada.
- Tims Rewards points can only be redeemed at participating Tim Hortons restaurants**.
