TORONTO, Sept. 24 /CNW/ - Toronto's largest kite festival takes place on Saturday October 2nd. Featuring the WindJammers International Kite Team, expert demonstrations, kite making for children of all ages and an afternoon full of activities and performances.

(Note: A water taxi will be available at 2pm to take media out on the water for wide angle shots of the festival)

WindFest is the first major event that brings together the Green Energy sector and Toronto's kite fliers in a combined celebration of wind power. Whether we're using wind to spin turbines or to lift beautiful kites off the ground, we're reminded of the enormous potential of wind energy and the powerful forces of nature that surround us.
