Media Advisory - Annual RecycleDrive campaign expanding

OSHAWA, ON, Oct. 14, 2013 /CNW/ -

What:			For the third year in a row, CAA South Central Ontario (CAA SCO) and Ontario Tire Stewardship (OTS) will be collecting your old tires, dead batteries, used motor oil and oil filters.
			This year, the RecycleDrive campaign has been extended from one week to more than two weeks and expanded to include an additional 10 drop-off locations.
			The eco-friendly initiative will run from October 15-31 at 29 participating garages.
			The garage which collects the most tires can choose a school in their community to receive a Sustainable Revitalization package featuring $20,000 worth of landscaping greenery and recycled tire products.

			Come out and join community members as they drop off their old batteries, tires, oil and oil filters.
Who:			Gina Banwait, CAA South Central Ontario and Krista Cassidy, Ontario Tire Stewardship will be on site to discuss why recycling old batteries, oil and tires is important to the community.
