Event advisory: Surrey skin cancer screening event, Saturday November 21, 2009, to be co-hosted by local federal M.P., Ms. Dona Cadman, who lost her husband to skin cancer.

SURREY, BC, Nov. 20 /CNW/ - The Canadian Dermatology Association and Surrey North M.P., Dona Cadman, are co-hosting a fully booked, public skin cancer screening and awareness event on Saturday November 21, 2009, 11 am to 2 pm, at the North Surrey Recreation Centre.

Ms. Cadman lost her husband, Chuck, to melanoma skin cancer in 2005.

Who: Dermatologists with the Canadian Dermatology Association, and M.P. for Surrey North, Ms. Dona Cadman.

What: A public skin cancer screening and awareness event.

When and where: Saturday November 21, 2009, 11 am to 2 pm, Youth Lounge, North Surrey Recreation Centre, 10275 - 135 St., Surrey

       the Canadian Dermatology Association's Sun Awareness Program,
