Media Advisory - Invitation - News conference - 2009 Operation Red Nose teams up with Insurance Bureau of Canada to combat impaired driving this holiday season

FREDERICTON, NB, Nov. 6 /CNW/ - Operation Red Nose, is joining forces with its provincial sponsor, Insurance Bureau of Canada, to help keep New Brunswick roads safer during the holiday season.

Operation Red Nose is a free designated driver service that is run by hundreds of volunteers who provide a safe ride home to holiday revellers in their own vehicles.

At a news conference to be held on Tuesday, November 10 at 9:30 am, Terry Brown of the Fredericton Lions Club, David Kelly, City Councillor for Ward 12, Marie Dumont, RCMP Corporal and Bill Adams, IBC Vice-President, Atlantic, will announce details of the 2009 program.
