Harry Rosen spring ad campaign celebrates heroes of the Canadian business world

'The New Confidence' series features Rob Guenette, Matthew Corrin, Roger
    Martin and Robert Deluce

TORONTO, March 11 /CNW/ - This spring, Harry Rosen Inc.'s celebrated ad
campaign features four distinguished Canadian business leaders - innovators in
their respective fields who share the belief that maintaining their own
personal brand in uncertain times is integral to projecting confidence and
ensuring success as leaders. The campaign kicked off with an ad featuring all
four participants on March 10.
"Our experience tells us that in a challenging economy, maintaining your
personal image is crucial and can go a long way towards instilling the
confidence that is needed to ensure continued success," states Larry Rosen,
CEO and Chairman of Harry Rosen Inc. "I am thrilled to showcase not only four
of our loyal clients, but four outstanding businessmen who are doing their
part to help bolster our economy through their business acumen and
leadership."

    The Influencer

On March 24, Rob Guenette, CEO of Taxi - an award-winning ad agency with
offices in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, New York and Amsterdam -
appears in an ad wearing Tom Ford. Passionate about his work, Guenette enjoys
fashion as well and considers it as a form of creative self-expression. Never
afraid to express his point of view, his energy and enthusiasm have won him
both accolades and admiration in the fast-paced ad industry. In exchange for
his appearance in this ad, a donation will be made to Covenant House.

    The Guru

From small-town Ontario to Harvard to the University of Toronto, Roger
Martin, Dean of Rotman School of Management has long been considered a guru
and is widely respected for his business insights. Martin, who participates in
building tomorrow's business leaders and has built Rotman into a
world-renowned facility, appears in the campaign on April 17 in an Ermenegildo
Zegna suit. A donation will be made on Martin's behalf to the Hospital for
Sick Children, where he has been a trustee for nine years.

    The Visionary

As President & CEO of Porter Airlines, Robert Deluce understands the
vision and dedication required in creating something of value for others to
appreciate. With Porter Airlines - flying from downtown Toronto to Ottawa,
Montreal, Halifax, Quebec City, New York and Chicago - he offers his customers
a refined flying experience and superior customer service. Appearing on April
21, Deluce wears a Canali suit in his ad, and has requested that a donation be
made to the Arthritis and Autoimmunity Research Centre (AARC) Foundation on
his behalf.

    The Entrepreneur

Founder & CEO of Freshii Inc. (operator of Lettuce Eatery and Freshii
restaurants in North America), Matthew Corrin embodies the traits required to
be a successful entrepreneur - innovation, motivation and perseverance - in
addition to confidence. He continues to build his brand and business -
offering healthy, convenient meals and snacks - in Canada and the U.S. In his
ad on May 6, Corrin wears Etro and in exchange for his participation, a
donation will be made to Heifer International, a charity that gives live
animals to families so they may live and prosper.
In the past, Harry Rosen Inc. has enlisted Canadian and international
entertainers, athletes and other high-profile personalities to take part in
its weekly newspaper ads, in exchange for charitable donations. Recent
campaigns have engaged such luminaries as Olympic medallist Adam Van
Koeverden, Grammy-award winning R&B sensation John Legend and CTV's Canada AM
co-host Seamus O'Regan. The print ads run weekly in major market daily
newspapers across the country. This season, an online component to the
campaign will accompany the print ads beginning in late March. As well,
www.thenewconfidence.squarespace.com will feature videos and a blog - an
online discussion on business, leadership, confidence and clothing.
