Media Advisory for Inter-Nation Trade and Economic Summit

    TORONTO, March 6 /CNW Telbec/ - The Assembly of First Nations
Inter-Nation Trade and Economic Summit (INTES), a national gathering bringing
together some of the leading thinkers on the economy from both the First
Nations and non-Aboriginal communities, begins this Monday, March 9 until
Wednesday, March 11, at the Metro-Toronto Convention Centre, Constitution
Hall, North Building, 255 Front Street.

    Highlights for Monday, March 9

    9 a.m. Opening Remarks by National Chief Phil Fontaine; Ontario Regional
    Chief Angus Toulouse; and Ontario Minister of Aboriginal Affairs Brad

    10 a.m. Presentations by Economists Craig Wright (RBC); Don Drummond
    (TD); and Jim Stanford (CAW)

    11:30 a.m. Signing of Memorandum of Understanding between Mining

    Chief Phil Fontaine

    3:15 p.m. Presentations by Lee MacTaggart (American Consulate); AFN
