The Mondial de la Bière 2009: more international than ever!
MONTREAL, June 2 /CNW Telbec/ - The most important festival of
international beers in North America and Montreal's first great festival of
the summer, the Mondial de la bière offers its most impressive list of
imported beers ever! From June 3rd to 7th, amateurs can discover over 450
products, of which 197 are new beers, available at the Windsor Station and
Courtyard.
At the place of honor in 2009, Japanese beers that were imported for the
occasion, but also, imported aromas from Sweden, Denmark and Czech Republic;
fragrances from Italy, the United Kingdom, Germany and Belgium; from exotic
Trinidad and Tobago, and obviously from Canada and the United States.
Representing local brewing traditions and coming from many regions of Quebec,
24 brewers will be taking part in the festival, an increase of 2% compared to
the 2008 edition. The Mondial de la bière is without saying the place where
curious, amateurs as well as neophytes, epicures and up to the most
experienced connoisseurs, meet to fulfill their quest for flavors.

Sunday, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
