Sheila A. Murray joins CI Financial Income Fund as Senior Vice-President and General Counsel

    TORONTO, Jan. 10 /CNW/ - CI Financial Income Fund ("CI") today announced
the appointment of Sheila A. Murray as Senior Vice-President and General
Counsel. Prior to joining CI, she was a senior partner at Blake, Cassels &
Graydon LLP specializing in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions.

Financial Corporation, and KBSH Capital Management Inc. Her appointment was
effective January 7, 2008.
