Public Service Announcement - VIA Rail's Edmonton Station Opens its Doors to the Public
Giveaways for Children and a Draw to Travel on the Snow Train to Jasper
EDMONTON, Dec. 10 /CNW/ - VIA Rail's Edmonton Station will be opening its
doors tomorrow to the public to showcase a number of products and services.
- Enjoy a tour of the Panorama viewing cars featured on VIA's Snow
Train to Jasper (Edmonton to Jasper) and Skeena (Jasper to Prince
Rupert - summer operation) services. These cars feature full panorama
viewing from every seat in the car.
- Learn about rail safety from a VIA - "Operation Lifesaver"
representative.
- Children can have their picture taken next to a locomotive and
receive a souvenir photo.
- Tour the cars and enter your name in a draw for a chance to win a
trip for two on VIA's Snow Train to Jasper which includes ski rentals
and lift tickets for two at Marmot Basin resort in Jasper.
- Tickets for the December 18th Santa Train fundraiser to benefit
Edmonton's Capital Health Children's Hospital will also be available
for sale at the station (only 400 seats available for sale)
VIA representatives will be on hand throughout the day to answer
questions on VIA services.
