New Canadian Reality Television Show Debut
TORONTO, Aug. 20 /CNW/ - On August 22nd a new financial reality TV
program titled "Clean Slate" will make its television debut on the Global
Television Network. The program presents three couples competing in real-world
financial challenges, testing their money savvy for a $10,000 prize and a
chance to wipe their debt clean.
Executive Producer Michael Wendland explains, "Clean Slate symbolizes the
money challenges average Canadians face. We all want to spend less, avoid the
credit trap and save more. However all too often, what we want and what
actually happens are worlds apart."
With his business partner Scott Peckford, Wendland created Clean Slate.
Peckford states: "We created an entertaining and informative format. The
audience (like our participants) will get caught up in the drama and emotion.
It's fun and compelling, but also demonstrates a practical side that offers
the participants and audience deeper insight on how to better manage their
money."
The show is hosted by lifestyle guru Cheryll Gillespie; known
internationally for her television and radio programs, and weekly syndicated
newspaper columns.
Clean Slate will air on Global Television August 22nd and repeat August
29th, check local listings for times.
