Worth the Risk? Adzuna Takes a Closer Look at Canada's Most Dangerous Jobs

LONDON, July 6, 2017 /CNW/ - Adzuna, a U.K. based job search engine with 10+ million monthly visitors and presence in 16 countries, conducted a research study on Canada's most dangerous jobs and the salaries.

Even with technological advances and stricter regulations, some industries continue to be among the most dangerous while others are shockingly less and better compensated than ever before.

This June 2017, job search engine, Adzuna, conducted a study taking a closer look at what are Canada's most dangerous jobs and their average salaries.

In conjunction with the Association of Workers' Compensation Boards of Canada (AWCBC) and Adzuna's salary data, Adzuna found that the most dangerous jobs are no longer among the worst paid and are above the national average, $45,000.

43% of fatalities in Canada are in construction and manufacturing industries with salaries averaging a $10,000 premium above the national average.
