Media Advisory - Postal workers to meet with Liberals, push for restoration of door-to-door delivery

OTTAWA, Feb. 8, 2017 /CNW/ - Representatives of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers will be meeting with Judy Foote, Minister responsible for Canada Post. CUPW representatives will be available for media interviews following the meeting.

WHY:

Postal workers will meet with Judy Foote to discuss "The Way Forward for
Canada Post," report of the Standing Committee on Government Operations and
Estimates, and its recommendations, including the restoration of door-to-door
delivery. CUPW will urge the government to keep its election promises on
bringing back home mail delivery to those who have lost it.
