Media Advisory - Government of Canada to announce support for disruptive innovation in genomics

MONTREAL, Dec. 7, 2016 /CNW/ - Marc Miller, Member of Parliament for Ville-Marie—Le Sud-Ouest—Île-des-Soeurs (Quebec), on behalf of the Hon. Kirsty Duncan, Minister of Science, will announce a federal investment in new projects across Canada to spur disruptive innovation in genomics.

Disruptive innovation is an innovation that creates a new market or disrupts an existing market which allows for emerging talent to be leaders of the future and create jobs for Canada's middle class.
