Gerry Ritz Announces Funding to Royal Canadian Legion Branch 183
FRENCHMAN BUTTE, SK, Jan. 28, 2014 /CNW/ - Royal Canadian Legion Branch
183 (Frenchman Butte) will receive funding through the Veterans Affairs
Canada Cenotaph/Monument Restoration Program to restore the Frenchman
Butte Legion Cenotaph. The funding announcement was made today by
Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz, on behalf of Veterans Affairs Minister
The cenotaph is a focal point in the community and for remembrance
activities. A damaged plaque on the cenotaph will be replaced with a
new bronze plaque with raised lettering.

The Cenotaph/Monument Restoration Program helps groups/organizations
ensure our memorials are conserved to the highest standard.
Cenotaph/Monument Restoration Program 2014 application deadlines: April
1, July 2, October 1.
