The new gymnastics-inspired movie Full Out and the return of new episodes from season three of the channel's hit tween series The Next Step catapulted the network into the #1 and #2 spots on Friday night across all non-sports specialty stations, winning with its target demo of kids 8-14 and teens 12-17.1
Family's new Friday night lineup proved popular with all viewers, winning each program in the 6:30–11 p.m. timeslot with kids 8-14, kids 2-17 and Ind. 2+.2 With a rejuvenated schedule featuring new episodes of AwesomnessTV: Sketch Show, Hank Zipzer, Make Me Over and The X Factor UK alongside The Next Step and Full Out, Family garnered the largest teen audience when compared to competitors on Friday, winning the night with teens 12-17 from 5-11 p.m.3 The network also opened the fall season by taking eight of the Top 20 spots across all specialty stations with kids 8-14.4
New episodes of AwesomenessTV: Sketch Show, Hank Zipzer, Make Me Over and The Next Step continue to air Fridays beginning at 4:30 p.m. ET/PT. Fans who missed Full Out, which starred Ana Golja (Degrassi) and The Next Step's Lamar Johnson and Trevor Tordjman, can catch an encore presentation Saturday at 12 p.m. ET/PT.
